Is WBG safe in vegetable garden?
Last year, I installed a parallel circuit in my irrigation system which allows me to blanket my lawn with concentrate liquids such as herbicides/insecticides. This year I planted a 20x40 vegetable garden which gets spray from two of my sprinkler heads. As soon as we get a break in the hot weather, I wanted to use the sytem to blanket the lawn w/ a full dose of WBG Max + CG control. Is it safe for this to spray in my vegetable garden? I am currently harvesting squash, cucumbers, tomatoes, jalapenos, banana peppers, zucchini, and squash on a daily basis. My veggies are growing like crazy; I could probably do a complete harvest including even the small picks and be able to put it off for 3-4 days if that would help allow the use of WBG.

Check The Label. WBG is considered safe enough, but I'm not sure about the crabgrass control.
Keep in mind that the WBG is likely to kill some/most/all of your plants in the vegetable garden as well.

Weed plants, correct? Not vegetable plants? If it just kills the weeds in there, good!

Everything, I should think. Most vegetables would class as broadleafs. Again, I'd check the label to see what it's safe for--I'm talking off the top of my head and could very well be wrong.

Don't do it. Vegetable leafs are very sensitive to herbicides like 2,4D. I have a little damage just from wind drift.

I think the only thing in a garden that might be able to withstand WBG would be corn since it's a grass.

Yeah, it would be pretty sweet to have a multi-purpose "Weed Killer" that would be able to read your mind and only kill the "Weeds".... Spray it on the grass and kill any errant Crabgrass and volunteering tomatoes and wild flowers.... Spray it on the Bermuda lawn and kill any residual Fescue.... Spray it on Fescue and kill any residual Bermuda... Spray it on the Veggie garden and kill any errant lawn grasses.....
Oh... Yeah... Don't spray WBG on a vegetable garden...
Thanks
John
