Can I apply weed killer now?
Near Houston. Winter has been like Spring. Ive got weeds going good. Is it OK to use some Bayer Advanced Southern Weed Killer For Lawns? This weather has been crazy. My Bermuda isn't even all the way dormant.

Yes, I would apply the weed killer. The La Nina weather pattern has pushed up spring.

I'm going to stick it out a while longer......the Forsythia is looking ready to pop any time now. Then I'll apply pre-em. I am so anxious to get back to working in the yard, I can't see straight.

Will I still be able to do a pre-emergent when the time comes in about 6 weeks? Will it be too much for the grass?

If you got any of the rain this past weekend, then NOW is the time to use a preemergent. Your weeds will be popping from the relatively warm rain.

I've been spraying my weeds (clover) as I see them. The winter has been so mild here, a typical January has lows right around or below freezing for us every night. This past January, I think we had maybe 3 days where the temp went below 32.
Someone told me that this might indicate a March blizzard, we'll see. But I too am ready to get back outside!
