Anti Dessicant for Shrubs this Winter?
I ended up planting a long row of boxwoods for a hedge about a month or so ago. I was considering spraying them with an anti dessicant such as Wilt Pruf for winter protection but I have not used it before. Anyone have experience with this or thoughts / recommendations?

I have been using Wilt-Pruf for years. Apply when temps are over 40 now and then again in about six weeks. Most damage seems to happen in February March if the ground has a hard freeze. Sun is so low now that you shouldn't get burn from the sun this time of year, but you can get wind damage.
A cold March can do major damage on new plantings. Shallow roots and a night into the teens followed by bright sun can scorch a holly or boxwood in a day or two of the ground is frozen around the roots.
