Update on hosta garden

Postby jfd.lew » August 3rd, 2011, 11:59 am

Well, all the hosta splits I got from my Aunt seemed to have made it. Apparently it's pretty tough to kill a hosta, even for me. :-)

One of the transplants from my Grandma's garden is from a hosta that she has had for decades. It's growing very well. The others are doing OK. Something seems to be munching on them. I haven't seen any slugs, but there is a lot of various bugs living in the beds. Either way, I'm happy with them! My mulch is disappearing though. Time to make a trip to the city mulch pile!
