Agreed. Unless I've been asleep, they bloomed yesterday up here in the Lehigh Valley as well.

Occasionally, I'll drive to work asleep with my eyes closed.

Moving to full bloom on north shore of LI now. Water around us keeps us about 5-10 degrees cooler than most places that are 5-10 miles away from the water.

BP:
I think you and I are going to tough it out to see who out of the regulars throws in the towel first. I'm beginning to think that the forsythia may bloom in Nome, Alaska before it blooms here.
Or maybe I'll have 364 days of winter, and the Fourth of July this year...

Sorry, BP - you win and are all alone now.
The forsythia bloomed here in the Lower Hudson Valley this morning, and I finally got my ticket punched for the Game! The "Emblem" is finally showing showing some hints of Green, and the snoring sounds from my lawn are down to a dull roar. Yay! I beat Nome, Alaska!!

It wouldn't surprise me if forsythia is blooming in the area (none right around here to check). But we're supposed to get more snow this week. Some of the seed I put down last November started coming up a couple of weeks ago, and I'm hoping hte moisture from the snow will help more germinate.
