It's actually chilly here tonight, headed for 52 degrees overnight. I had to close windows.

Opened the windows myself and enjoyed the evening. Myrtle was out until 10:30 mowing. She didn't seem to mind, and doesn't need to see--she's blind in everything but a narrow band of the radio range and magnetically anyway so she mows as well in pitch dark as sunlight.

Solar summer ended yesterday; meteorological and astronomical have a while to run yet. Happy first day of solar fall.

Lows in the fifties with dew just means it's time to start up the iron again!
