Skins Fan Renovation (Pic Update 12 Week Mark)
Yesterday, I scalped, raked, and spread about 600 lbs of compost and a light top dress of peat. With my high Phosphorous levels (from my soil test), what should I apply in a couple of weeks?
I dropped Milorganite about 3 weeks ago.

Re: Seed is down, what to add in 2 weeks
More Milorganite is fine. If you want to add a half dose of synthetics, I'd wait a month. The seed contains everything the initial plant needs to get moving for several weeks, and your Milorganite drop 3 weeks ago will still be working away.

Sounds good, any suggestions on a synthetic?

Really, any good feeding would be fine--Turf Builder, store brand, whatever. At that point you don't need the phosphorus so much any longer, so don't bother with a starter.

Re: Skins Fan Renovation (Update Day 16)
Here are a few pics from this morning, Day 16. It's really coming in nicely, a few patches are a little slow, so I threw down a couple of small handfulls of additional seed last week just in case.
I've been watering 3-4 times a day for about 15 minutes each, but will cut back to twice a day now. I plan to drop a bag of Milorganite in the next day or so, and will probably add a little synthetic in with it.
Mountain View Seed claims the first cut should be in about 3 weeks, so my question is should I wait or cut it now? ........ It's about 2-3 inches in most spots.

Thanks everyone. Stay tuned for week 4 pic update soon, if the rain ever stops.......
Should be a good game this weekend, I'm cautiously optimistic.

Re: Skins Fan Renovation (Pic Update 4 Week Mark)
Ok, here we are at week 4. As noted in a previous post I dropped 1 bag of Milorganite last week - and with about 5 inches of rain this week, we're looking pretty good right now.
I've been trying to cut it every 3 days if possible and it's growing like crazy and seems to be thickening very well.
Here are few more pics, be sure to notice the nice looking lawn next door........and the weeds I fight daily.

Man, I am loving the TTTF so much, I am seriously thinking about killing off my back yard and doing it in TTTF myself.
