Renovators: End-of-Season Pitch

Discuss how to and whether you should renovate your lawn

Renovators: End-of-Season Pitch

Postby andy10917 » November 3rd, 2011, 5:35 pm

Aw, c'mon - you had to know that this posting would happen someday...

If you're thankful for all the help that the other Members gave you in getting your Renovation off-the-ground, then a great way to show the BL community your thanks is with a small (or even better, large) donation to keep the Site afloat and growing - it's expensive to maintain and grow the site.

There is always a Donation Link at the bottom of the page, but here's a Link that avoids that terribly-difficult scrolling down: Donate to Bestlawn

PS: Even if you didn't Renovate this year, but want to help out by donating because your lawn is now Awesome, click the link!!!

I haven't posted in a while, but I am here everyday learning something new. Even though I never posted a renovation thread :sorry:, I know I would not be where I am without this site and all of the great people here.

I support several times a year!! although my stress level might be a little less without finding this site lol but its all in good with all the info to help maintain and care for my lawn. I want to thank everyone for their kind comments on helping fellow members out, and not getting frusterated with all the newbie like questions some of us (not pointing the finger JC PAINT WORKZ<----) asks all the time even though he's been here enough to not be a newb lol
Thanks in Advance,

James

I want to thank everyone for their advice, and also for all the encouragement to start the reno and through the process. I did contribute when I started the reno, and I plan to continue to support this site.

Thanks all!

Contributed back in October and will continue to do so in the future. This is the best site on the net for lawn related knowledge in my opinion. Many, many thanks to all that contribute their knowledge, expertise and guidance. Really enjoy looking at all the lawn photo's you all post too.

And congrats xxryu139xx on the new job!

Ok, did not renovate in 2011 but plan on doing so in 2012. Great info and help from everyone on this site. I am having probs with paypal though.

What is the email I can plug in at Paypal to send a donation? For whatever reason I am having trouble.

It's the email address that was used to set up the Paypal account. Do you have a Paypal account? If not, it's very easy to set one up. I use mine for almost all of my Internet purchases that support it.

Sorry for my poor phrasing. Yes, I have paypal and have used it before. For whatever reason when I click submit on the donation page it sends me to my paypal account but the payment does not go through.

I was going to click on "send money" to an email address on paypal to get it where it needs to go. That's the only thing I can think of doing right now.

Hey guys.

When you click on the link, is it taking you to this url?

Code: Select all

I just went through the process and it seemed to work fine. Anyone else seeing this problem?

Still not working for me but I don't want to be a freeloader. If there is another way to donate or maybe an email address I can send the paypal payment to I am up for it. No problem dropping a few bucks in snail mail either if I need to do it that way.

Hey Buckeye,

I'm in the process of moving. So I've no place to have you email it. If you don't mind my asking, what browser are you using? Have you tried a different one?

I've been using Chrome. I will try Explorer when I get a chance. Never had a problem with Paypal before so there has to be a glitch somewhere (probably on my end).

Will get it figured out eventually one way or the other I am sure....
