Decided to do a Reno after all

Postby grassboro » August 29th, 2011, 12:32 pm

Well I was going to just overseed and fix patches in my 2010 reno A lawn. But I decided to do a renovation of part of my long weedy side B lawn. Doing about 2700 sqft. Thanks to John_in_SC for his thoughts on tempering expectations of a new reno. Instead of biting off all 6600 sqft I just took the part that runs in my front yard. I can manage this as well as summer watering without too much of an expense and hassle. I’ll leave the rest to think about next year. I already have a 25 lb. blend of Cochise IV, Falcon V and Turbo, which is more than I need to overseed and fix brown patch and construction worker’s bald areas in my A lawn. I just ordered 25 lbs of Bullseye that I will mix with the others and do everything with this mix.

Now off to kill the weeds.
