Chickens!
Does anyone here keep bacyard chickens?
I'm planning to get a few hens either this fall or in the spring. I'm in the process of fencing in my back yard, and I will soon begin building a coop on the back of my shed.

Re: Chickens!
We actually started this spring with four chicks and got our first eggs last week. The hens are great and the kids absolutely love them.

Well, I kinda forgot I started this topic. My 4 baby Buff Orpington chickens arrived this morning. I've nearly completed the coop, and I'm so excited!
Crud...tried uploading a pic but I'm getting an internal error message. I'll try again later.
