Peat Tea
Andy's comment on another thread got me to thinking about making peat tea for some trees that seemed to have signs of chlorosis (se threads here and here).
Well, now my diagnosis for cholrosis in the trees is gone, but I'm wondering what else I can do with that tea? I have some good pH test strips which I'll use tomorrow to get a pH of the tea, but what do I do with it? I might apply it to the trees anyway to help unlock some of the iron and other micros (the native soil has a pH of 7.7 - 7.8), but I was wondering about applying it as a short-term application to the lawn.
I haven't figured out the math yet to see how much tea I'd need of a certain pH to temporarily lower the lawn pH, but I know those damn log scales make it seem easier than it is.
Thoughts or comments on what to do with the tea? (I also have some citrus, magnolia and fig trees which might benefit from the application.)

Re: Peat Tea
I told Freyja about the Peat Tea because she has a single plant in trouble. It works, but I can't come up with a way to scale it up to larger volumes. It just doesn't scale well.

Re: Peat Tea
That is a chemistry problem. You need to know the buffer capacity of the soil and tea and the molar concentration of the tea to make an informed decision.
