Stop, you had me at "Milorganite."

Would you know if that's every Wal-Mart or just selected ones? I searched online for my store but didn't see it (however, the Web site is awful).

I called my local WM, and they either didn't have it, or the dude checking is just dumb.

Walmart is usually across the board with their inventories but it could be a YMMV kind of thing. I bought some on clearance a couple years ago before I started lurking on this forum and looked for it this morning at both Kmart and Walmart because I couldn't remember exactly where I purchased it originally.

I'm in Iowa and they had an entire pallet sitting in the back corner in lawn and garden. I hope you guys find it - I've learned so much from this forum and have nothing to give back otherwise.

Fleet Farm is gonna drop their price to $5.99 soon anyway. When they actually advertise it, HD will give it to us at $5.40/bag. Then we shall rejoice and break bread.

And spread poo on the lawn.

I wish I had those prices here. Walmart does not even sell Milorganite. There is only one reseller and the price stinks!! :)

Cheers

I've searched high and low to find it cheap. The cheapest I can find it is $10.25 at my local agway. It's over $12 at HD and Lowe's. My Wally World doesn't even carry Milorganite. I guess the Miwaukee wasterwater district can't be brow beat into lowball prices like our Chinese businessmen can.

This is the time of year I really hawk the big box stores as they're in transition and trying to get rid of the summer stuff. I just picked up one of those little outdoor fireplaces at HD that was 75% off of what it was this spring.

No luck for me, either--our local Wally World, in addition to being a thoroughly unpleasant place to shop, doesn't have it.

However, the next time I want to feel tall, thin, and elegantly dressed, I'm going back there. Even in my kicking-around clothes, I was seriously over-done.

I think it was Northernlawngeek who alerted me to the fact that Rona puts it on sale in the spring. $9.99, I think.

On sale at Aco's in Michigan : $6 per bag.

Take ad in to Lowes and the price match 110%. = $5.45 per bag.
