Fly ash
Does coal fly ash have any use/value for organic feeding or soil ammendments? I know its used in concrete mixes at warmer temps to reduce the amount of cement powder needed to save costs. I'd have to do some looking around, but I think it can be bought pretty cheap.

In a word, no. There's a great deal of silicon dioxide (sand/silt) in it (useless, and often in particulate glass form from burning), plus calcium oxide (a pH changer), and even less desirable stuff like mercury, lead, and dioxins.
