AP & NM clone app rates

Postby jmgreen7 » July 1st, 2011, 7:31 am

I'm confused about the application rates of the AP & NM clones. I understand when putting them down separately, you should put them down at 2oz/1000. What i don't understand is if you mix them 50/50, how come you are not putting them down at 4oz/1000. i would think that would be putting 2oz/1000 of each product, right?

That's correct; four per K if you use both.

Morph - the only reason i brought it up was that i swear i've read threads where it says to apply at 2oz/1000 even if you mix them.

Probably. The new article details it, though, and 4 per K is just fine when combining (2 of each). I actually exceed that myself.

I hate acronyms. Associated Press New Mexico is the best I (old guy) can figure out. I hate the new language that has evolved from the new texting society.
Sister Mary Frances would have a field day with her ruler, I tell ya!

In the world of hi-tech gadgetry, I've noticed that more and more people who
send text messages and emails have forgotten the art of capitalization too.

Now I'm pretty rough with my language skills, but let me tell you this.

"Capitalization is the difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse,
and helping your uncle jack off a horse."

There IS a slight difference there.

I don't know what they are (I came up with the same things as Gary), so I assume that means I'm not the one being asked.

I can't figure out if you guys are playing dumb or really don't know what AL and NM stand for in the context of spray-applicated products which have "clones" known to the BL community and a recommended app rate of 2 oz per 1000...

Old farts don't know, really.
We do know that it stands for that succotash and soap concoction that is sprayed on the lawn.

But what AP and NM actually stand for? No.

Thanks. As I guessed, I'm not the right one to answer.

To be fair, I only know this because I read the thread where Morphine and Andy developed their formulas yesterday thanks to a recent bump. I was just surprises to see people who posted in that thread have trouble with the acronyms. Of course, it is fresher in my mind.

Here's a fun fact. NM actually stands for Nature's Magic, not Nature's Miracle, so my late night brain couldn't even get it right the first time.

That one wasn't due to the sleep-deprived mind of a new father. That was my phone's auto-correct working on "Morph".

I apologize for the acronyms. Working for the military has rewired my brain to think and type in acronyms. Even our acronyms have acronyms. It's pretty scary.

My favorite is DICNAVAB or the Dictionary of Naval Abbreviations.
