Bird S__T everywhere...
Ok, so I've finally got a decent organic level, lots of worms and lots of birds chirping (sounds very nice). But the bird crap everywhere is out of control. Anyone have an easy way of cleaning it that won't affect the grass (its all over the swingset, on the patio right next to the lawn, etc. etc.).

That's my last resort, my property is one big hill and the thought and dragging it around everywhere is daunting. I thought maybe someone has a magic organic solution you spray on it then you wash it away with regular hose or rain. I can hope...

Spray diluted liquid soap and wash off. Don't use an anti-bacterial, but other than that it's just a bit of soil conditioner.
Depending on the...consistency...you may need to let it soak a bit, and it won't be perfect.

Sure, that would work, or just cheap liquid hand soap in a sprayer or hand-pump sprayer like you'd use for ironing. Dilute enough to pass the pump.

Or a scrub brush or several thunderstorms, preferably with hail.
Yeah, that stuff's nasty and soaking won't work all that well to remove the stain. Although it'll at least get rid of the worst of the poo.

Getting purple birdsh_t all over my white vinyl fence, patio furniture, and patio- even a strong spray from the hose nozzle barely affects it. The Robins are getting bold stealing my worms out of the grass, they now ignore the fact that I am standing within 10 feet of them- I probably have the only lawn with active worms on the street, since I am the only one watering and laying down organic matter....and the birds know it!

I get the Violet Violation on the patio myself and try not to leave the car under any trees during blueberry season. Which is widepspread and long in PA as the bushes happily grow in native soil (our natural pH being about 4.5 in many areas).
There's not much you can do but wait it out.

I just hope for more rain to clean off the deck and swingset. My robins seem to particularly like perching on the backs of my outside chairs, crapping down the front of the backrest. Those I jsut hit with a hose and a wad of paper towels to get off the tough spots. Nice oragnic lawns do seem to attract a larger percentage of neighborhood birds....oh well, that's the price we pay.

Same problems here. The brave birds fly down and pick up worms from right in front of my lawnmower!
In thick bermuda grass, the crap just sits on top of the turf! I washed my truck yesterday, and today I noticed a spot where the bird crap etched nicely into my clearcoat. Im starting to see the true cost of organics, lol.

Re: Bird S__T everywhere...
A small amount of vinegar mixed with water will help and won't hurt the grass. Do not use too much. Spray on and use a long handled brush and then hose off with plenty of water. I use this all the time on my raised deck with no affect on the grass.
To help keep the bird traffic to minimum to begin with, just place a plastic owl on your patio/deck and you'll be surprised how it keeps the birds away. Remove every couple of weeks for a few days to avoid familiarity by the birds.
