Tulip Tree Anthracnose
I lost a dogwood to it, and the stuff seems common on this property. The tulip tree is showing symptoms on the leaves.
It doesn't tend to kill the tree, it's just very unattractive. I'd rather not pull out a hefty fungicide for this as the probability of tree death is near-zero and it's growing like mad and quite healthy otherwise.
Leaves from that tree and any branches or twigs will not be mulched and will be removed from the property.
Is there any low-powered, targeted fungicide that works on anthracnose?

low-powered + anthracnose is like the jumbo shrimp oxymoron.

Morph, you're good at research - I read things about Phosphites and Serenade being useful in fighting Anthracnose, but since I have no Anthracnose, I have no real-world experience or opinions on their ability to help. The claims could be pure, ummm, Milorganite. But there are multiple reports that seemed credible - it might be worth a little googling.

Yeah, I know, but hope springs eternal and all that. With it being unlikely to kill the tree, I'd rather not wipe the helpful fungi.

I'll poke around, thanks! Serenade definitely meets the low-powered but useful category if it'll work. Phosphites probably will, too...
