Re: Bug on tomatoes
Whats a good way to kill 'em? Something that won't kill me when I eat the tomatoes.
Are the tomatoes that they've already poked holes in ruined?

These suckers are a PITA. pick em off, wear gloves cause you'll find out what stink is. As far as the mators, If they are red you can pick and work around them. If green it may rot. I've had them on hot peppers, Really hot and they go just enough in just before they get to the heat. I don't know of a kind way of elimination (spray). I hear the government is looking into a parasitic wasp that eats thier eggs but hasn't approved it yet.

Annoying. Stinky. Make holes. But at least they neither bite nor sting. Or I assume they're stinky as I can't smell them for some odd reason. People tell me they are.
If it's just a few, I'd play the Ignore Game unless and until they damage the tomatoes. More than that, and any vegetable-safe insecticide should take them out.

I would like to know what your using Morp. I've tried neem and no go. I've read their shells are so hard nothing can stick, maybe speader sticker with neem? I won't use any strong chemicals in my garden.

I always ignore as they aren't an issue for me here for some reason. Research said that most insecticides are effective, though. Maybe a pyrethrin?

You have to smash them to smell them! Seems like a pretty poor defense mechanism, since they're already dead.
