This is how I am supposed to suit up before even thinking about going near >50 volts:

Try wearing that for any amount of time in 100+ degree weather!

My dad always told me to work with my mind and not my back. Unfortunatly I didnt like school, and have developed a pretty good skill. Here I am doing pretty much the same thing he does.
Management is an option, Im working my way up that ladder and have gotten a little taste of it. I think the answer is to start my own business though. Then I make the rules
Next year I will have that option when my wife is finally done with school and starts her second career!

I don't dress like that when working with lye (mostly because those gloves would be dangerously difficult to handle and increase the probability of spillage). I tend to always water-short my solution--intentionally--so I'm working with a pH 13.9 mix.
Warranted, I wear full face gear, goggles, a sealed lab coat, Neoprene gloves, long pants, socks, and rubber shoes.
