Tire Question...
So I couldn't figure out why my SuTech was cutting too low; I realized that the front left tire was totally flat. I took it to the dealer and the mechanic put "bead sealer" around the rim and then was able to inflate the tire (I think it took him about 3 minutes; I spent about an hour trying to figure it out). Keep in mind I am not mechanically inclined and this mower is pushing the limits of my knowledge/aptitude, but I'm getting more comfortable with it.
What is the logic behind a tire like that, I kept trying to inflate it only to hear the air go right out. I guess there is no tube on the inside, right? Seems like a tenuous connection between the rubber and the metal ring as the air can seep out.

Re: Tire Question...
Its the same thing as a car tire. You did not have enough air pressure to bulout The tire out to make the seal. The bead sealer is a sticky glue almost. It bonds to the tire bead and sticks the the rim. Most of the time it works great. You might have lost air from the bead or valve stem. You can check it with soapy water. It will make huge bubbles if you have a air leak.

Re: Tire Question...
I use windex at my shop to find nails etc. Fill tire up and spray entire area bead ( where the rim and tire meet) valve stem with the cap off. Sometimes the inner part of the stem (valve leak) Also if you have a seam on the rim like a split rim spray the rim itself. You can buy a plug kit from a auto parts store if you have a nail in the tread I've used them for years, you don't have to dismount tire from the rim like a patch. Above all be patient small leaks take time you'll see a bubble mound up and if the windex drys keep spraying. Of course if you have a tube you don't plug!

Re: Tire Question...
those smaller tires can be a real pain with leaks. if the problem continues, think about getting the dealer to install an inner tube. because your mower is so new, maybe it can be done free of charge.
