I thought I did, but I could easily be wrong. Anyway, JD doesn't make their snow equipment anyway, it's a rebranded machine. I know Ariens used to make JD, I don't know if that is still true or not though.

Smolenski7 - I did a little research and the JD snow blowers are made by Briggs and Stratton for JD. In fact the Snapper product line has a model almost identical to my 1028e. JD will no longer sell walk-behind mowers, snow blowers and tillers after 2012, and will start selling Honda equipment in its place.
