How do you set all valves to run at the same time? or is this not possible?

Which ESP controller?

My LX won't let me do that.

No controller should let you run all the valves at once. Why would you want to do so? You would not get enough pressure to even pop them up. If you want to open them all up for some reason just go to your valve box and turn the top of the valve until it is open.

Some will, Simpson.

Hunter iCore for one.

It all depends on if the system was designed to handle it, though. It's actually a pretty good idea if build it right. Gives you tons of control over dry spots in your lawn.

I'm thinking that it might not be able to.

What do most of you have yours set to for this time of year? 1 watering per week or frequent warterings? The designer set it for 15 mins each zone every single day, 3x a day.

I've never set up a program. I only turn mine on when the grass needs watering.

You aren't watering seed, right?

If the system wasn't specifically built to run multiple zones at once, I wouldn't attempt to.

You could potentially damage your system.

I have some seed down in my hellstrip and the spots where the ditch witch was to run the lines, so I guess 3x a day for 15 mins isn't so bad. I'm going to lay down some fertilizer tomorrow after it rains (I got the scotts bag that says the grass should be wet when you put it down)
