Orbit water timer on sale at Lowes TODAY
Lowes has the single outlet Orbit timer on sale - normally $31.xx on sale for $25.xx. They were all sold out so I convinced them to sell me the Orbit 2 outlet {both individually programmable} model {the one I really wanted from the start} priced at $37.xx for $31.xx ....the same $6 discount they were offering on the sold out model.
I took a few minutes to play with it- seems nice very easy to program either outlet independantly from once every 6 hours up to 1x per week, with watering times adjustable from 1 minute to 240 minutes
Should come in handy for next months overseeding project
also has a manual button that you can set for just a one time shot of water programmable from 1-240 minutes in 1 minute increments. 6 year warranty too.

Can you set it to operate as follows?
1. Tuesday morning from 3am to 6am
2. Tuesday evening from 8pm to 10pm
Nothing the rest of the week.

I could, but it is not designed for that type of operation out of the box.

I just bought 2 of the 4 valve timers from HD. Hope they come in handy on this Reno I'm doing, I've seen good things about them if they are taken care of.
Thanks in Advance,
James

Did each come with 2 or 4 valves in the package? The ones I looked at included 2 valves, and you could add up to 2 additional ones if you purchased them separately? Either way,it should certainly make our renos easier to manage!

Yea it had 2 and had to buy two if you wanted 4 on each. But I'm using on opposite sides of the house.

I bought the 4 valve and 1 valve back in late May when I had some sod laid. I must say that they have worked great.
