Or I think it's new, and it's new to me. This hose-end system can take constant pressure with EZ-Flo's standard (excellent) warranty. So it can now be installed at the hose bib with the valves after it.

Re: New EZ-Flo Constant Pressure
How do the ratios compare to ounces/gallon or tbs/gallon? Also, could this be an alternative to using a hose-end sprayer?

1:100, or 1.28 oz per gallon at Fast, 2.6 tbsp per gallon.
There's some discrepancy there as the new one has both charts, but specifically calls out the model number in the 1:400. The EZ-Flo online sheet (Click here for more information) has 100:1. I tend to believe the sheet.
In either case, even if it's 1:400, it's an alternative, but perhaps not a good one. Most irrigation systems have odd distribution patterns in places, so laying down kelp or whatnot wouldn't be even.
I'd never use it for herbicides, pre-emergents, or anything else. It's too inexact.

Thanks. I was also curious if you think this could be a suitable alternative to a hose end sprayer for things like soil conditioner? The only thing I don't like about using my Gilmour is that I have to be careful with it when I am adjusting the hose around the yard. It's sort of a pain. If I was using a standard sprayer I could throw it on the grass without worrying about spilling product.

Yes, that would work. I know several folks who saw mine and ordered them, and then use them to water their pots as well with fertilizer-water. And their gardens.
Even the non-constant-pressure works fine for that since you'll turn the hose off when you're done.
