Looking for a quality dandelion weed tool.
I bought this a couple weeks back at the local Home Depot:
Click Me: Dandelion Hand Tool
I knew it was poorly made, but it is all they had and I was wanting to give it a shot to see if it worked for me. I used it for a week and worked great, however, I snapped the handle in half, no surprise here. Now that I am convinced that the tool is a good one for me to have in my collection. Where can I get a tool like this that is built to last? Thanks.

I like the Weed Hound by Hound Dog. You don't bend over, you just place it, step, lift, and hit the button. I've had mine for years and never had a problem with it.
It's even capable of pulling a good chunk of tap root. No dandelion I've pulled with it has ever come back, unless I didn't get it placed right and only tore the leaves.

This is what the Weed Hound looks like in action.

You can pop out dandelions just about as fast as you can walk. I've never seen a garden tool so universally loved.

You can tell that by the guy smiling as he uses it.
Everybody who sees mine wants to steal it.

I've seen a couple of tools at home depot similar to the weed hound, where you step and pluck them out. I guess that's the best design, but I have no experience with them. Maybe check another HD or yours was out of stock at the time (they stock things seasonally or sell out fast)
