Illuminare Hose Guide Review

This is a nice hose guide, with a nearly foot long insertion post, a rolling guider, and a nice cap to stop the hose from bouncing over it. The iron (or steel) has a coating to resist rust in a very dark green and you don't see much of it when installed.
The illuminare part is very, very subtle after sunset, and nothing you'd really notice without looking pretty hard at it. I have other illuminares, so this wasn't a disappointment for me. For the one large ball illuminare I want brighter, I've installed a solar-powered ultraviolet LED to excite the phosphors at night. That won't work for these as they're too small and closed.
