blade sharpening

Postby kraftwerk » June 27th, 2011, 10:16 pm

I got some new blades last year where the inside half of the blade is raised up at a different height. The paint is not stripped off that area so I guess it's just for air lift and not cutting? Any point in sharpening that area or just sharpen the blade where the paint is stripped off?

Just the blade I don't think the rest will do anything.

I would sharpen that area as it will help chop some of the clippings up finer if you are mulch mowing.
